For the first time in our career a song the band believed in from day one was pushed aside by our record label and shelved.

We’re usually pretty much in sync and so we were floored. Sometimes we think a song is an 8 and the label thinks it’s a 6.  And vice versa. But we never before thought a song is an 11 while the label maintains it’s not worth releasing.

But we’re not quitters…

We started leaking it to YOU, our fans. And suddenly a grassroots movement started rising up. 

We would see “Release Evergeen” posted all over our social content…even over other song promotions. Thousands of times. 

We would show up to concerts and people would have homemade signs pre made. 

We made a t shirt for this UNRELEASED song and it became our instant bestseller on tour.
