We get it why people are curious, because, as every parent knows, raising kids is hard and beautiful work, and people wonder what it's like raising kids in a less typical environment! Perhaps one of the things we love doing the most with our kids is reading books. It’s a moment of connection during the day where we get to go on an adventure with our kids— whether we’re on the hunt for a Gruffalo, or sitting in a great green room, it’s fun to watch their imaginations and creativity expand before our eyes

When we’re honest, we’ve all had seasons where going to church has felt hard, stale, or even painful. Sometimes with good reason, and we would never want to diminish that. But today on the blog we want to talk about what we’ve learned about parenting when you’re bored with church.

I wish someone had told me then when I ran to catch a rugby ball with the arms God created for me specifically— that it was worship. Or that when I looked up at the dark night sky dotted with millions of stars above my country home and gasped in wonder, that it was worship.
